The Opux Iberica 1702 combines traditional Iberian styling and craftsmanship with a flexible, highly adaptable construction. Offering a secure, close-contact feel, it is a beautiful and versatile choice for Working Equitation, classical dressage, Iberian riding, trail riding and everyday schooling.

Built on a flexible leather tree with a fully flexible pommel and removable panels, the fit can be adjusted to suit the individual horse, including saddle width, spinal channel and overall balance.

The Iberica 1702 can also be customised in a selection of leather and suede colours, gold or silver hardware, stitching colours, panel lengths and panel thicknesses, allowing both the fit and appearance of the saddle to be tailored to horse and rider.

With its distinctive decorative tooling, premium saddle leather and suede seat and knee pads, the Iberica 1702 offers a beautiful combination of traditional character, rider security and adaptable fit.

This saddle is best suited to horses with low to medium withers. The fit can be customised using the removable panels, allowing the saddle width, channel width, and overall balance to be adjusted for an optimal fit.

The fully flexible pommel allows the saddle to accommodate variations in the horse’s shape, while the strong leather tree and stirrup attachment system provide structural stability.

Like all traditional Iberian saddles, this model requires a breaking-in period to allow the leather and construction to mould comfortably to both horse and rider over time.

Beautiful decorative tooling adds a classic Iberian appearance, while the saddle is crafted from heavy-duty saddle leather with a suede seat and knee pads for excellent grip and rider comfort.
