Opux Viper

Description

The OPUX Viper features a flexible tree with an interchangeable gullet plate, allowing the saddle to be individually adjusted as your horse changes shape.

Its thoughtfully designed V-system girthing with a movable rear billet provides excellent stability, helping to keep the saddle securely in place—even on round-barrelled or uphill-built horses where saddles often tend to slip forward.

The SuperSoft seat incorporates a specially engineered cushioning material, providing exceptional comfort while supporting a balanced and secure riding position.

Designed with a monoflap as standard, the Viper offers close contact and clear communication between horse and rider. The well-cut flap provides excellent shoulder freedom, while the short, high-positioned knee blocks leave the lower leg unrestricted. This design also allows taller riders to comfortably ride in a smaller seat size.

The saddle comes standard with close-contact panels permanently flocked with a three-layer soft latex construction. The front of the panels is bevelled to maximise shoulder freedom and encourage unrestricted movement.

The Viper is an excellent choice for horses with challenging saddle-fitting requirements, particularly very short-backed horses. It is equally suited to gaited horses, dressage riding, and leisure riding, offering comfort and stability across all levels of riding.
