The OPUX Spider features a flexible tree with an interchangeable gullet plate, allowing the saddle to be individually adjusted as your horse changes shape.
Its thoughtfully designed V-system girthing with a movable rear billet provides outstanding stability, helping to keep the saddle securely in place—even on round-barrelled or uphill-built horses where saddles often tend to slip forward.
A comfortable latex seat promotes a balanced and secure riding position, making the Spider an excellent choice for horses with more challenging saddle-fitting requirements, particularly very short-backed horses.
Designed with a monoflap as standard, the Spider offers close contact and excellent communication between horse and rider. The well-cut flap allows generous shoulder freedom, while the short, high-positioned knee blocks leave the lower leg unrestricted. This design also enables taller riders to comfortably ride in a smaller seat size.
The saddle comes standard with close-contact panels permanently flocked with a three-layer soft latex construction. The front of the panels is bevelled to maximise shoulder freedom and encourage unrestricted movement.
The distinctive Spider web pattern on the saddle flaps, together with the exclusive Spider emblem, gives this saddle its unique and striking appearance.
