Description

The Gaiter Dressage V3 represents the latest evolution in treeless saddle design, combining refined ergonomics with exceptional comfort for both horse and rider.

Designed with newly developed, softly contoured ergonomic knee supports, the V3 offers a secure yet comfortable riding position. The semi-deep seat features a narrower, lightly built-up profile, complemented by a redesigned cantle that provides enhanced support without restricting movement. The slimmer, slightly longer dressage flaps create a more elegant and close-contact feel.

All Gaiter models are built on a proven multi-layer construction of premium leather, foam, and latex. This creates a highly flexible, adaptive saddle that moves with the horse while maintaining rider stability. The design allows for greater freedom through the shoulder, making it particularly suitable for horses with expressive movement and strong shoulder action. Its longitudinal flexibility also makes it an excellent choice for horses with shorter saddle-bearing areas.

The saddle features a monoflap design as standard (with sweat flap), offering a closer connection between horse and rider. The thoughtfully engineered girthing system (V-system with a movable rear strap) enhances stability, even on round-barrelled or uphill-built horses where saddles may otherwise slip forward.

Pressure distribution is optimised through soft latex-filled, contoured panels (permanently flocked with Soft Latex), ensuring excellent weight distribution and comfort. Close-contact panels come as standard, with the option to add an additional 1 cm of padding. If selecting thicker panels, a wider gullet channel is recommended. The front is slightly built up to accommodate horses with withers, although it is not suitable for high-withered horses.

Seven seat sizes are available, ranging from 15” to 18”, allowing for a tailored fit for the rider.

For added versatility, optional D-rings can be included for attaching saddle bags (front, rear, or both).

Crafted from high-quality leather and manufactured in Europe, the Gaiter Dressage V3 reflects exceptional attention to detail and durability.

The double-stitched flaps are made from the finest soft nappa leather and are available in black or two shades of brown:

• Chocolate (dark brown)
• Dark Havana (rich reddish-brown)

Customisation options also include your choice of stitching and piping colours (piping refers to the trim along the cantle).

Suitability

Well suited to a wide range of horse types, including:
Icelandic horses, cold-blooded breeds, Iberian breeds, Fjord horses, Friesians, ponies, and other horses with low to medium withers (not suitable for high withers).
