Macon Bareback Pad
A luxurious and exceptionally comfortable bareback saddle made from thick, premium sheepskin. Its anatomical design provides freedom for the horse’s withers and spine, ensuring greater comfort and unrestricted movement.
The underside of the saddle features sheepskin-lined pockets for removable inserts, allowing you to customize the fit according to your horse’s musculature and shape. Included are special 3-layer mesh inserts that offer excellent pressure distribution and shock absorption while maintaining outstanding breathability.
The saddle flaps are made from durable quilted cotton. The lower section of the flaps is lined with soft sheepskin to help protect the horse from rubbing caused by the rider’s legs and from pressure around the girth attachment points.
Sheepskin is a time-tested natural material that effectively wicks away moisture, helping to keep both horse and rider comfortable while maintaining excellent hygiene.

Important:
Use a girth without elastic when riding with a bareback saddle. (Girth not included.)
Care Instructions:
- Machine washable when needed (maximum 30°C / 86°F, gentle cycle)
- Use a detergent specifically designed for sheepskin products
- Remove inserts before washing
- For routine care, brush with a soft sheepskin brush and wipe the fabric with a damp cloth
