The F.R.A. Imperial Hackamore is an elegant Baroque-style bitless bridle combining traditional detailing with thoughtful anatomical shaping and a secure, balanced fit.
The bridle features an anatomically shaped, softly padded headpiece, together with a generously padded browband and noseband. Both the low-positioned throat strap and browband help stabilise the bridle and keep it comfortably positioned on the horse’s head.
The softly padded noseband features an adjustable curb strap that can be adjusted independently on both sides, allowing the fit to be balanced and customised to the individual horse. The bridle itself also offers adjustment on both sides for improved symmetry and fit.
Decorative Portuguese-style fittings across the browband and noseband give the bridle its distinctive Baroque appearance.

The bridle comes complete with a pair of elegant F.R.A. Barco academic hackamore shanks, selected to match the colour of the bridle’s fittings.
The Barco shanks complement the traditional styling of the bridle while providing mechanical hackamore action for riders looking for a refined and beautifully coordinated bitless setup.
Complete with Reins
Matching soft, smooth reins with snap hooks are included. The reins measure approximately 320 cm in length.
